Dianne Scott joined Step by Step Professional Footcare early in 2014 as a Certified Foot Care Registered Practical Nurse.
She took her passion for health and went back to college to become a Registered Practical Nurse and after a career as a licensed electrician. The deep and rich world of feet intrigued Dianne so she specialized in foot care.
Dianne was trained by George brown College, Ruth Ruttan & Assoc., ALYL Inc./Footloose and continues to attend foot care conferences and courses to keep up with new developments. She belongs to the College of Nurses, Registered Practical Nurse Association of Ontario, and is the Membership Coordinator of Independent Business Specialty Interest Group (IB SIG of RPNAO).
Calvin Chui has been practicing as a chiropodist since 2011, when he graduated from the Michener Institute for Applied Health Sciences and became a registered member of the College of Chiropodists of Ontario.
His path to chiropody began during his Bachelor of Science, Honours degree in Life Sciences at Queen’s University, where he gained an interest in anatomy. His time at the Michener Institute afterwards led him to an appreciation for patient-based care and community health care education, especially with his placements at Sherbourne Health, St. John’s Rehab Hospital, Toronto Rehabilitation Institute, and Women’s College Hospital.
Once he became a practicing chiropodist himself, Calvin applied this balance of patient care and education to clinics around the Golden Horseshoe. From Vaughan to Richmond Hill to Hamilton, he built up experience with nail and skin ailments, biomechanical and gait assessments, and orthotic device prescription and manufacture. Now as a part of the Step by Step team, Calvin is able to apply this knowledge, skill, and care in helping the unique demographic that is Toronto.
