This is the result of the two footbeds in the shoe that may be removed, a system the manufacturer refers to as the Plus Fitting System. The boot easily accommodates orthotics of any size, including those that are extremely thick, as this helps to ensure any foot condition, even those that are extreme, can benefit from wearing the boots. In fact, the boots are so comfortable they can easily be worn all day, every day.

These boots are well constructed to hold up to regular use. They feature a waterproof leather upper and Dupont Thermolite with Waterproof Membrane lining. The removable, moldable Eva insert and built-in heel cushion help to provide the comfort these shoes are known for, and the boots are perfect for work, as they have a tempered steel shank. To ensure proper footing at all times, Rockford opted to fit this boot with an oil-resistant, slip-resistant, rubber, non-marking outsole, allowing them to be worn all year long. Last but not least, the boots lace up and include a pull tab to make it easy for them to be put on and taken off.

Style and sizing can be a concern when purchasing orthopedic footwear, and Rockford understands this. They offer the boots in sizes from 7 to 14, accommodating even those with small or large feet, and the boots may be purchased in widths of M, W, 4W, and 6E.
